Terms of service

The short version: pay once for credits, we convert your files, everyone is honest.

The service

PubRescue converts Microsoft Publisher (.pub) files to PDF and Word documents. Conversion is automated; results can differ from the original, and each file comes with a note describing anything we detected. Converted files are available for 24 hours, then deleted.

Credits

Credits are a one-time purchase, never expire, and one credit converts one .pub file (both output formats included). Files we can't open don't use a credit. If a file converts badly, tell us and we'll refund that credit.

Your responsibilities

Only upload files you have the right to convert. Don't use the service to process unlawful content or to probe or overload the system.

Liability

The service is provided as-is. Check converted files before relying on them — that's what the fidelity notes are for. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
